Why's the pre-order button not showing?Updated a year ago

Here are a few things you can check to make sure your product is setup correctly:

    1. Make sure you have 0 stock in Shopify for the product variant(s) in question. Incoming stock levels are set in our portal in the relevant Waitlist's settings, not in Shopify where stock level should be set to 0.
    2. Make sure your store has Shopify payments enabled.
    3. Make sure that the “continue selling when out of stock” checkbox is ticked for each variant you want to sell on preorder. This is done by Purple Dot for you automatically when you create the Waitlist in our portal - however, if it isn't ticked, you can manually tick it.
    4. Make sure you are using an Online Store 2.0 compatible theme (more here). You can check if your current theme version supports online store 2.0 by checking the release notes of your theme developer.
    5. Make sure Purple Dot has been added to your theme. See the 2nd Getting Started step in our portal for more.
