The email link for my customers with declined cards is expired, what can I do?Updated 2 years ago

The link send by Shopify for customers to update their payment details expires after 8 hours and sometimes this email will need to be re-sent out. 


Here's some options: 

(1) If a customer reaches out about this, you can go to the Purple Dot dashboard and mark the customer’s order as ready to fulfill, which will prompt another email be sent.

(2) You also could direct the shopper to https://app.getpurpledot.com/shopper, where they can sign in and click ‘Edit’ on their payment method and have this confirmation re-sent.
