How does the Purple Dot app handle combined orders (in-stock and pre-order items)?Updated 2 years ago

The Purple Dot app defaults to shipping combined orders separately.

The in-stock portion of the order will have the Unfulfilled status in Shopify can be fulfilled as normal. The pre-order portion of the order will have the On Hold status until stock arrives and you are ready to fulfill.

However, you can choose to ship together as well. To ship together, some brands manually apply the On Hold status in Shopify to the in-stock item until all the stock arrives.
